Seeds/Church/Trousers - An experiment in seed dissemination.

The resulting plants included, industrially farmed wheat, sedge grass, wild poppies, hawksbit and Scabious.

In 2018 I conducted two experiments in peripatetic seed collecting around the village in which I live - The first involved the collecting of mud and debris which fell from people’s clothes and shoes during Church attendance. The second involved the collecting of seeds which stuck to me ans became caught in my trousers during walks around the village (school drop offs/dog walks/shop runs etc). I sowed both sets of seeds on midsummers eve 2018 and documented the results through a series of Medium format and digital photographs.
